Technology creates opportunities. Relationships allow us to turn them into growth.

Automechanika Frankfurt 2026 was much more for M-TECH than another opportunity to showcase new products. After nearly 20 years in the market, we wanted to demonstrate how our company has evolved, how M-TECH, POWERTEC and ROAD-TEQ are developing, and where we want to go next. Yet, from my perspective as Brand Manager, those few intense days also reminded me of something else: no brand grows on its own.

We have just concluded several incredibly busy days at Automechanika Frankfurt 2026 - hundreds of conversations, meetings, product presentations and new connections. Our stand was buzzing with activity almost continuously, making the event an experience entirely different from the day-to-day work of our team.

And that is precisely one of the things I value most about trade fairs.

In our daily work, we are separated by screens, phone calls, messages, projects and hundreds - sometimes thousands - of kilometres. In Frankfurt, we had the opportunity to meet in one place. With partners we have worked with for many years. With customers who have known M-TECH since a completely different chapter in its history. With media representatives who have been following the development of our company and the automotive aftermarket as a whole. But also with people we spoke to for the very first time at this year’s event.

And every one of those conversations matters.

A brand does not grow in isolation

For nearly two decades, M-TECH has built strong expertise in automotive lighting. Technology remains the foundation of our business and one of our most important competitive advantages. Today, however, the scale of our capabilities is significantly greater. We are developing M-TECH, POWERTEC and ROAD-TEQ. We are entering new product categories, advancing our technologies and building an increasingly comprehensive offering for the automotive aftermarket.

We can talk about strategy, new products, technology and portfolio development. But every one of these decisions is also shaped by the insights we receive from the market. Our partners tell us what their customers need. Conversations with our sales team reveal where new opportunities are emerging. Users highlight problems worth solving. Meetings with media representatives allow us to view the market from yet another perspective.

For us, feedback is not an addition to the development process. It is an integral part of it. And I firmly believe that without this exchange of knowledge and experience, we would not be where we are today.

Products can be showcased. Relationships must be built.

Our presence at Automechanika Frankfurt 2026 was the result of many months of work by the entire team. What visitors saw at our stand was supported by hundreds of decisions, both large and small: new products, catalogues, communication, marketing materials, product displays, brand identities, logistics, meetings, presentations, and a special event prepared for our partners and invited guests.

When you later see a busy stand, conversations in full flow and people stopping to explore the products, it is easy to forget just how much work took place behind the scenes beforehand. Yet this is precisely the moment when all those elements come together to create a complete experience.

Particularly important to us was the evening when we had the opportunity to meet with our partners and guests in a less formal setting - without the rush that characterises a typical day at the trade fair, and with time to talk not only about what we offer today, but also about what we can achieve together tomorrow. Because in B2B, a product may start a conversation. It is the relationship that keeps that conversation going for years.

Business is about people

Automotive is a highly technology-driven industry. We talk about specifications, approvals, performance, new solutions and product advantages. All of this matters. But Frankfurt reminded me once again that even in the most technology-driven industries, business ultimately comes down to people

It is about trust built over many years. About someone answering the phone when a problem arises. About honest feedback that sometimes confirms our assumptions and sometimes encourages us to look at a project from an entirely different perspective. About partners who return to our stand at successive trade fairs. About people within the company who can spend months working on a project and then come together for several days to represent the results of that work. That is why the growth of M-TECH has never been solely the story of M-TECH.

It is also the story of our customers, distributors, partners, suppliers, media representatives and the entire team that builds M-TECH, POWERTEC and ROAD-TEQ every day.

We are writing the next chapter together

Automechanika Frankfurt 2026 was intended to mark the beginning of our next chapter. And it truly did. We presented new technologies, new product categories and the significantly broader capabilities of our company. But we are also returning from Frankfurt with something that cannot be included in a catalogue: conversations, opinions, ideas and even more knowledge about what the market needs.

I would like to thank everyone for every meeting, every conversation and every honest opinion. Thank you to our partners and customers for your trust and for growing alongside us, in many cases for years. Thank you to the media representatives for the conversations, your interest and for accompanying us through the successive stages of our development. Thank you to everyone who visited our stand and joined us at our special event.

And finally, a huge thank you to the entire team. Because a company can have an ambitious strategy, outstanding technologies and excellent products - but without the right people, even the best plan will remain just that: a plan. After Frankfurt, I am more convinced than ever that the greatest competitive advantage we can build for the years ahead lies in combining technology, quality and relationships.

Products will change. Technologies will continue to evolve. The market will present us with new challenges.

But good business will continue to be built between people.

The Next Chapter Has Begun.

Growing Together.
