This is particularly relevant in reflector headlamps without a projector lens, where the bulb design directly affects the performance of the entire lighting system.

The POWERTEC TITANIUM range has been developed for drivers who expect maximum lighting performance, enhanced durability and premium manufacturing quality. It is the first POWERTEC halogen bulb range to incorporate laser-cut coating edge technology, previously associated primarily with top-tier products.

Laser Cut - precision begins with bulb design

The key solution used in the TITANIUM range is Laser Cut technology. It enables exceptionally precise separation between the coated and transparent sections of the bulb. The accurately defined coating edge provides greater control over how light leaves the bulb and enters the headlamp’s optical system. In practice, this results in a more precise beam pattern and a clearly defined light cut-off line. Light can therefore be directed onto the road more effectively, improving visibility and driving comfort after dark.

Manufacturing precision is particularly important in conventional reflector headlamps without a projector lens. In this type of design, the reflector is primarily responsible for shaping the beam. The filament position and bulb coating must therefore be properly matched to the headlamp optics. Laser Cut technology helps maximise the reflector’s potential and achieve controlled light distribution.

Up to 180% more light on the road

POWERTEC TITANIUM delivers up to 180% more light compared with a standard halogen bulb. However, the improvement is not limited to an increase in luminous output. The key advantage lies in combining high performance with precise beam control, ensuring that the additional light is directed where it is needed most. Improved road illumination helps drivers identify obstacles, road signs and other road users earlier. This is particularly important when driving at night, on poorly illuminated roads and in changing weather conditions.

White light with a xenon-style effect

The TITANIUM range produces intense white light with a colour temperature of up to 3400 K, creating a visual effect similar to xenon lighting. This light colour gives the headlamps a more modern appearance while improving the visibility of the road and traffic signs when driving after dark. The combination of white light, high luminous performance and a controlled beam pattern enhances visual comfort while retaining the benefits of conventional halogen technology and straightforward bulb replacement.

POWERTEC TITANIUM bulbs are manufactured from high-quality quartz glass with a UV filter, helping protect headlamp components against the harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation. The construction also incorporates a rich noble-gas mixture comparable to solutions used in premium products, together with high-grade tungsten. This combination supports stable filament operation, high lighting performance and resistance to heat and vibration. The enhanced design also provides a longer service life and increased resistance to voltage surges, both of which are important during everyday vehicle operation.
