New chapter in the M-TECH range – WTL2xx series combination lamps

M-TECH, as a leader in the automotive lighting industry, has a wide range of xenon and halogen bulbs, LED retrofits, as well as accessory lighting - from work lamps to LED bars and driving lights. Now it is time for the next range group - combination lamps.

The correct lighting of a vehicle is one of the key aspects directly influencing the safety and comfort of all road users. When choosing this type of lighting, it is most important that it is durable, robust and reliable - thus avoiding the additional costs associated with replacing or, in the worst case scenario, buying a new lamp. This is exactly what the newly introduced models of the WTL2xx series do. Two models in four variants will be the first to be offered: WTL201L/R and WTL202L/R.

Combination lamps are integrated automotive lighting units, most often mounted at the rear of the vehicle, which combine several lighting functions in a single housing. Instead of installing an indicator, stop light, position light or reversing light separately, all these functions are contained in one lighting “unit”. This is exactly what the models in the WTL2xx series do.

The WTL201 is a universal combination lamp with the most popular rectangular shape (341 × 148 × 58 mm), which uses 104 high-quality LEDs. The lamp offers up to 7 functions: reflector, number plate illumination (4 LED; 0.5 W), direction indicator (14 LED; 5 W), stop light (19 LED; 3.3 W), position light (36 LED; 1.5 W), reversing light (12 LED; 1.4 W) and fog light (19 LED; 2.3 W).

The WTL202 is also a rectangular combination light (463 × 132 × 60 mm), equipped with 92 high-quality LEDs. Built-in functions include: reflector, number plate illumination (4 LED; 0.5 W), indicator (14 LED; 5 W), stop light (20 LED; 2.4 W), position light (18 LED; 1 W), reversing light (16 LED; 1.2 W) and fog light (20 LED; 2.4 W).

Both models are made with LED technology and are compatible with 12/24V installations. They have full ECE R148 and ECE R150 homologation, which means they can be legally used on public roads in the European Union. In addition, they feature dynamic turn signals and a single position light - without visible LED dots - which gives the lamps a modern and aesthetically pleasing appearance. It is worth noting that both models are available in right-hand (R) and left-hand (L) versions and have integrated number plate illumination - another advantage that adds to their versatility.
