M-TECH launches work lamps with LASER technology – proven in practice

M-TECH, a Polish manufacturer specialising in modern automotive lighting, is launching a product line that could completely change the way work lamps are perceived. The WLLDL105, WLLDL107 and WLLDL109 models are the first work lamps in Europe based on a laser light source – a technological revolution that combines extreme power, range and reliability with a compact, durable design.

Technology that shines further

Laser as a light source is a milestone in the development of lighting in the automotive industry – comparable to the introduction of halogen, xenon or LED bulbs. Laser light provides unprecedented brightness and beam focus – its luminance is up to four times higher than that of LEDs, which translates into a record range of up to 1,600 metres at a level of 1 LUX.

For users, this means a real impact on safety – regardless of weather or terrain conditions. WLLDL lamps are the answer to the growing needs of professionals: drivers of specialised vehicles, construction machinery, off-road vehicles and emergency services.

Three models – one philosophy

WLLDL105 (5 inches) – a compact lamp with a 15 W laser diode and 8 high-power LEDs. Luminous flux of 6400 lm, range up to 1082 m at 1 LUX. Ideal where precision and flexibility are important.

WLLDL107 (7 inches) – larger version with a 15 W laser diode and 12 high-power LEDs. Brightness up to 10,900 lm and range of 1,128 m. Includes interchangeable caps (transparent and orange).

WLLDL109 (9 inches) – flagship model with a 30 W laser and as many as 28 high-power LEDs. Beam of 19,400 lm and range up to 1,600 m. Includes an orange cover that changes the colour of the light.

Each lamp is equipped with a solid die-cast aluminium housing, an impact-resistant polycarbonate lens and meets the IP67 standard. Dedicated handles and caps further enhance functionality.

‘This light gets the job done’ – field-tested

The new line of laser lamps was tested in demanding conditions by the GROT Foundation for National Security and Defence. Its president, Andrzej Ostrowski, emphasises that the difference between classic and laser lighting is noticeable from the first use:

– Classic LED bars help with off-road driving, but their light is scattered during searches. Laser lighting is different – the beam is focused, without a glow, and we can precisely illuminate a selected point. This is a huge advantage, says Andrzej Ostrowski.

The GROT Foundation uses M-TECH lamps both during exercises and real rescue operations:

– Laser searchlights make the biggest impression. You can see a clear beam of light cutting through the night, exactly where you want it. It's really impressive. Rescuers also particularly appreciate headlamps with motion sensors – a simple hand gesture is enough to activate the light, without having to search for a button in stressful situations.

Thanks to this, laser technology not only facilitates work in the field, but also significantly increases the safety of night-time and search operations.

A partnership based on trust

As Andrzej Ostrowski emphasises, cooperation with M-TECH is more than just supplying equipment:

"For us, partnership means reciprocity. It's not just about someone giving us something and us benefiting from it. It's about a relationship in which both sides gain.

It is in such demanding projects that M-TECH strengthens its position as a manufacturer of innovative solutions that work not only on paper but also in the field.

Product of the Year 2025 – nomination for M-TECH laser lamps

The WLLDL series has been nominated in the prestigious ‘Product of the Year 2025’ competition organised by autoEXPERT magazine – an award for the most innovative solutions in the automotive industry.
