LEDs are changing the workshop. And M-TECH is supporting this change.
For years, the replacement of lighting in vehicles was limited to a simple procedure - replacing a bulb. Quickly, without special tools, without interfering with vehicle systems. LED technology is radically changing the workshop's approach to replacing and servicing lighting in vehicles.
Today, this picture is changing faster and faster. Customers expect better performance, energy efficiency, modern design and compatibility with assistance systems. And workshops need to keep up with the technology - both in terms of equipment and competence. This is because drivers are increasingly looking for specialists who can not only replace the light source, but also ensure its optimum performance and compatibility with the vehicle's systems.
LED technology - which has been at the heart of the M-TECH range for years - is changing the way we think about lighting. Modern headlights are no longer just a light source, but an integrated electronic system linked to the vehicle's on-board system. This means that the mechanic is no longer replacing a bulb - but is operating a sophisticated opto-electronic solution that often requires adaptation, coding and calibration.
When replacing a traditional light source with an LED - depending on the type of headlamp - it may be necessary:
- programming of lighting module
- calibration of the beam levelling (manual or automatic),
- adjustment of resistors or CANbus LED modules,
- system fault diagnostics,
- integration into systems such as AFS or Matrix LED.
It is no longer just a replacement - it is a process. And its effectiveness depends on the knowledge and appropriate equipment of the workshop.

This is why M-TECH not only develops the LED range, but also actively supports workshops - in terms of education, selection of components and tools that increase safety and quality of work. One of the best examples of this approach is the ILPRO5xx series of inspection lights - designed with the modern requirements of workshops in mind, especially those working with electric vehicles and high-voltage systems.
Why is ILPRO5xx the next-generation choice?
Because the modern workshop is not only about modern vehicles - it is also about modern tools. ILPRO5xx lamps support mechanics where it counts:
- full electrical insulation and protection class III - guaranteeing safety when working with high voltage (EV) systems,
- anti-static, non-conductive materials - eliminating the risk of accidental short-circuits,
- wireless (inductive) charging - no cables, no risks, maximum ergonomics,
- ILPRO500 charging stations - allowing two lamps to be charged at the same time (20W PD technology),
- IP65/IP67 standards - ensuring resistance to water, dust, oil and other typical workshop conditions.
It is not just a convenient working tool. It is a real support in everyday service procedures - especially where strict safety standards apply, such as when servicing electric cars, battery systems or control electronics.
The ILPRO5xx is a tool that fits into M-TECH's broader direction: creating solutions that respond to the real needs of professionals.

In a world where motoring is changing faster than ever before, M-TECH is delivering technology that helps workshops not just keep up, but create the standards of the future - efficiently, safely and responsibly.
