Fog lights – how, when and why should they be used?

The proper use of fog lights is not only a safety issue, but also a matter of current legislation. What is the situation in Poland?

Front fog lights: can be used in conditions of reduced visibility, such as fog or heavy rainfall. They can also be used on winding roads marked with A-3 or A-4 signs from dusk to dawn in conditions of normal air transparency.

Rear fog lights: only switch on in very dense fog when visibility drops below 50 metres.

Remember that incorrect use of fog lights can blind other drivers and lead to a fine.

If you want to make sure your lights work reliably and shine strongly, go for high quality bulbs to improve visibility and driving comfort.
