Evolution of LED sets on offer at M-TECH

How much can change in 8 years?

In 2016, Britain decided to leave the European Union, and the 45th President of the United States was Donald Trump. It seems that 8 years is not much at all, and yet a lot is capable of happening during that time.

On the other hand, 8 years ago M-TECH launched its first version of LED sets - LSP. They resembled the filament of a classic incandescent bulb, with applied LEDs and a screw-on base. It was large and bulky, and the quality of illumination was far from what we know today.

In a short period of time, the LSP evolved into a unified design, similar to what we know today, but it was still a large and bulky product that had trouble finding its place in the car’s shade, and especially with installation, which was not easy.

Following the idea of minimizing the space taken up, M-TECH decided to introduce two new products, namely LSO and LSS. The LSO was characterized by passive cooling, which was to dissipate heat from the light source by means of sheet metal, while the LSS became a smaller version of the LSP, but no longer screwed in, but a uniform design. Along with minimization, the diodes found in LED sets also began to improve.

With the next product came a new quality in M-TECH’s product line, the first-generation LSPRO, which helped give LED sets a premium status with its canbus, heat management and light output. On the other hand, LSC, which belonged to the economy segment, joined the LED set family. Thus, a clear and conscious division of LED set products into segments and price ranges began to form.

Later, the LED sets were joined by LSF, LSG and LSAL products, all aimed at bridging the gap between the economical and good LSCs and the best and meeting even the highest requirements of LSPROs. The mid-range, which includes all three products, combines the economy of LSCs and the lighting qualities of LSPROs, trying to get the most from both.

With the development of new technologies, we decided to improve our flagship LSPRO product, thus the LSPRONG was created, which is smaller, more efficient and has all the current technological solutions that further protect the product from failures and improve the quality of light

All the while following the path of improving the quality of our products, it was natural to reach the point where the LED set with its size will be identical to a standard halogen bulb. And this is where our two newest products, LSPS and LSPROS, come in. Both are 1:1 replacements for the standard halogen bulb, steeped in modern technology that ensures safety and quality. The LSPS and LSPROS series are ideal for anyone who wants to ensure safety and driving quality.
