A new quality of reversing and position lighting in one compact solution

Reversing is an everyday task for every driver – however, in conditions of limited visibility, bad weather or tight spaces, it can be a source of stress and risk. M-TECH is introducing a new series of WLRP101 and WLRP102 LED work lamps, which combine the functions of reversing and position lights in a single, modern LED housing.

The lamps are ECE R148 (reversing/position light) and ECE R10 (electromagnetic compatibility) approved, which means they can be legally used on public roads throughout the European Union. The user can be sure that the product meets all safety requirements and does not cause any interference with the vehicle's electrical system.

Compact design and high performance

The WLRP101 and WLRP102 are compact, 3-inch LED work lamps in the Flood version, designed to provide uniform lighting of the workspace and reversing area. The SMD LEDs (1+12 pcs) provide an effective luminous flux of 1500 lm at 23+4 W, operating in a wide voltage range of 9–32 V DC. The Flood light pattern guarantees wide light distribution, making it easier to see obstacles, the edges of the track and the vehicle's surroundings, even in the dark or in poor weather conditions.

Resistance and durability of construction

The body of the lamps is made of aluminium and the lens is made of resistant polycarbonate (PC), which ensures high mechanical strength and resistance to external factors. IP67 and IP69K protection ratings confirm full dustproofness, waterproofness and resistance to high-pressure washing. This design guarantees reliability even during intensive use in difficult terrain, when operating agricultural and construction machinery or special vehicles.

Installation and connection

Each lamp is equipped with an adjustable mounting bracket that allows for quick installation and precise adjustment of the lighting angle on different surfaces and heights. The wiring includes terminals for ground, main function (Flood) and position variants (white/red/amber), in accordance with the manufacturer's wiring diagram. The compact housing (approx. 3 inches) and low weight of 0.45 kg facilitate installation even in confined spaces without placing strain on the vehicle's mounting components.

Applications

M-TECH WLRP101 / WLRP102 lamps are designed for:

• reversing lights (in accordance with ECE R148) in commercial vehicles, agricultural, construction and special machinery,
• work lighting for the cargo area, the area behind the vehicle or the side manoeuvring areas, where a wide and uniform light beam is required.

Resistance and quality of workmanship

The lamps are manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IATF 16949 requirements, which confirms their supervised quality and repeatability of parameters. The durability of the construction is ensured by the materials used – a polycarbonate diffuser and an aluminium body, which increase resistance to vibrations, impacts and weather conditions.
